We have been given the exciting opportunity to source for our client, a large QLD Government Department for the exciting role of ICT Manager Strategy and Projects (AO8). Our client exists to protect the health and safety of the people of Queensland and aim to make a difference to the community.

**About the role**:
The Manager Information Communication Technology will assist the Department by developing and implementing a proactive strategy for ICT services, leading, and guiding the technology services and operations, and managing improvements to the Department's case management (resolve software) and records management systems.

The role will also provide solution focused strategies to the risk and audit committee and executive leadership team to mitigate any current and future risks that may impact the IT services for the office.

**Responsibilities of the role**:

- Design and develop a proactive ICT strategy and provide advice to business units via appropriate communication techniques and non-technical terms to assist informed decision-making regarding ICT products, services and direction.
- Lead guide and influence the development of the enterprise architecture based on industry best practices and customer needs.
- Lead and manage a high-performance team culture where individuals are valued, supported and provided with clear direction.
- Provide governance and ownership of the Enterprise Architecture, including reporting to internal and external key stakeholders.
- Oversee the development, review and monitoring of systems, policies and procedures which support ICT compliance requirements focusing on performance, planning and governance.
- Manage IT procurement and vendor relationships, including reporting service and supplier performance to appropriate service delivery standards.
- Provide solution focused strategies to the Risk and Audit Committee and Executive Leadership Committee to mitigate current and future risks that may impact the ICT services.

We’ll consider whether you have:
- Experience in developing and implementing an ICT strategic vision.
- High-level team and project management experience.
- High-level communication and change management skills and experience.
- ICT governance experience with Resolve (VB.NET) or equivalent case management system, SharePoint, SQL Server and other Microsoft technologies.
- An ability to deliver value for money outcomes through effective planning, risk management and resource utilisation.

**Qualifications/professional registration/other requirements**:
- A relevant tertiary qualification is considered _desirable_ but is not a requirement.
- Previous experience with the Resolve case management system or equivalent is a _requirement_ for this role.
- Qualification in Agile, Lean 6 Sigma or Prince2 Project Management is _desirable_.
