**Job Description**:
Play a critical role in advancing our delivery capability across our 12 publishing delivery teams responsible for our audience websites, native apps and editorial tools.

You will have regular interactions with business stakeholders and product owners to have an up to date view of initiatives’ pipeline and implement a consistent initiative lifecycle across the publishing portfolio.

Work closely with Engineering Managers and Iteration Managers to help plan and run projects, maintain a backlog, develop a roadmap, report on progress, allocate costs and create a delivery structure that encourages sustainable development.

Nine has a Delivery Practice which works across all engineering teams. You will regularly interact with Delivery Practice Lead to roll out common practices in publishing as well as provide feedback on effectiveness and challenges of adopted processes.

**Responsibilities**:

- Shape and evolve our delivery tooling and frameworks across the initiative lifecycle
- Drive greater alignment, effectiveness and efficiency
- Mentor and coach Iteration Managers, Product Managers and Engineering Managers to build their delivery capability
- Manage the publishing delivery plan
- Ensure effective execution through dependency management, risk analysis, release planning and measurement models.

**Qualifications**:
**What we would like to see**:

- Successful track record as Scrum Master (or equivalent) across multiple teams
- Experience mentoring and coaching Scrum Masters/Iteration Managers
- The adoption of effective agile methodologies.
- Proactive improvement of delivery practices and frameworks
- Working in and around product and development teams
- Working in a technical environment, able to translate product aspirations and strategic goals into delivery plans
- Desirable skills: Media industry and Atlassian JIRA, including Advanced Roadmaps
