**Customer Service Officer**
- Temporary position, possibility of ongoing work
- Monday - Friday, 8:15am - 5:00pm
- $36.21 per hour

The Customer Service Officer will provide effective and valuable service to both internal and external parties, ensuring communications are clear, concise, and accurate, maintaining the integrity of the organisation's profile in all dealings with customers.

**Responsibilities**:

- Provide quality customer service to customers and community members
- Resolve customer queries at the first point of contact. Where this isn't possible, to redirect queries to the correct department in a timely and efficient way
- Log customer requests for action and maintain accurate Customer Response System records
- Transact and receipt payments accurately, recording and receipting all transactions
- Accurately record qualitative and quantitative data relating to customer contacts
- Ensure that confidential and sensitive matters are dealt with appropriately

**Requirements**:

- Take responsibility for individual and team performance against targets
- Proven experience of providing high level customer service in an Inbound Contact Centre and/or Service Centre work environment with an emphasis on first point resolution
- High level proficiency in customer request systems, windows/web-based programs, and call centre technologies with the ability to quickly learn internal systems
- Current police check or ability to obtain one
