**The Principal Adviser Women's Re-entry Services will**:

- Supervise, motivate, encourage and coach staff in the performance of their duties and ensure training and professional development opportunities are provided.
- Oversight women's re-entry and other services delivery in accordance with endorsed models and contracts with external providers.
- Provide high level data analysis of service delivery data to ensure sound performance, including contract compliance and achievement of outcomes.
- Monitor and evaluate the delivery of women's re-entry and other services, including relevance to priority groups such as Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islanders and offenders with a disability.
- Lead the resolution of complex service delivery issues with operational sites and contracted service providers.
- Identify and develop strategies to respond appropriately to emerging risks in the women's re-entry service delivery system including appropriate liaison with Manager, Director, operational Directorates and sites as required.
- Lead and participate in key projects to improve service delivery as required.
- Adopt continuous improvement approaches to identify staff training needs to improve effective delivery of female offender re-entry services.
- Maintain own level of knowledge of contemporary female offender research and practices.
- Prepare strategic advice, submissions and ministerial and executive correspondence ensuring accuracy and timelines are met.
- Develop and maintain a thorough knowledge of work activities and practice issues impacting operations, the Directorate and the Agency.
- Participate in negotiations with other Government Agencies and key service agencies as required to ensure the achievement of Agency priorities and outcomes.
- Develop and maintain collaborative internal and external relationships.

Possession of degree qualifications will be highly regarded.
