**About The Role**

In partnership with Verve Partners our client, the Anglican Diocese of Newcastle, are recruiting a Learning & Development Advisor to develop and implement learning and development programs. This will be in alignment with the business strategy and development planning initiatives.

Reporting directly to the L&D Manager with a progressive and supportive style, you will be responsible for advising employees, managers and senior leaders within Newcastle Anglican, Subject Matter Experts (SME) and Organisational Development Team to support the delivery of learning and capability development throughout the entire employee lifecycle. This is an ideal opportunity for a junior L&D professional looking for that next step in their career.

**Key Accountabilities**
- Assist with the day-to-day operations of the Organisational Development function and general administrative duties including, answering general enquiries, giving advice to stakeholders, and managing Organisational Development communication systems and resources.
- Champion and drive the development of the learning and development plan, ensuring organisational priorities are met and aligned to the broader business learning and capability strategy at a program level.
- Learning design, program design, delivery, facilitation, evaluation.
- Support stakeholder and program portfolios with the business across a range of leaders up to General Manager level, to drive appropriate learning outcomes against the organisational priorities for all learning types across the employee lifecycle.
- Drive appropriate design and utilisation of accredited learning programs through the procurement of approved Registered and Group Training Organisations.
- Development and distribution of periodic and ad-hoc reporting on learning and compliance as required by key stakeholders.
- Maintain all components of Newcastle Anglican’s Learner Manager System, including content authoring, learning system architecture, processes reporting and evaluation.
- Support the design, implementation, management, and evaluation of Newcastle Anglican’s Early Careers Programs, including, but not limited to, work experience and vocational/ tertiary placement, and traineeship programs.
- Tertiary qualifications, diploma or certificate in Training and Assessment, Human Resources, Business, or related field.
- 2+ years’ experience within a Learning and or Organisational Development function, ideally in diverse, large matrixed organisation Development, delivery, and facilitation of learning and organisational development programs, targeting frontline employees up to senior leaders.
- Experience in managing and supporting stakeholders or portfolios to support service delivery.
- Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, in particular Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- Administrator experience with a Learning Management System such as Litmos or Success Factors
- Intermediate to advanced proficiency in the use of learning authoring tools (e.g.: Articulate 360).
- Hold a true passion for learning, developing others.
- Be a natural problem solver.
