Public Sector People are working with a regional NSW council who are seeking a Procurement Advisor to join them ASAP.

  • 3–6-month contract
  • Start from Monday 16th September
  • Up to $75ph + super
  • Coastal location

The role can either be fully remote, however Council would appreciate someone who is based on site.

Key responsibilities for this role include:

  • Leading the Council's Centre-led Procurement Team.
  • Developing, implementing, and reviewing training for internal customers across the organisation to ensure procurement compliance.
  • Contributing subject matter expertise to support Council's significant commercial decisions.

All the council ask is that the successful candidate has solid procurement experience within the Australian government sector - ideally local, but state or federal is also considered. 

Interviews will be conducted via Teams.
