**Your new company**

You will be working for an engineering consultancy, who provides services to electricity distribution asset owners, government departments and councils, EPC contractors to private business owners. They offer full service starting from preparing the designs, project management to construction management and finishing off with project handover. They are recognized provider of high-quality designs for OH/URD lines and substations to 66kV, street lighting and distribution asset relocations. Due to influx of work this company is looking for an Electrical Drafter to join their team.

**Your new role**

In your new role as an Electrical Draftsperson, you will be responsible for producing electrical plans for design and construction activities in URD and electrical infrastructure projects. The Electrical Draftsperson will be accountable for producing electrical plans that are fully compliant with network authority technical drafting standards, such as Victorian Electricity Supply Industry (VESI) design process and drafting standards. **What you'll need to succeed**

This role is best suited for a person who enjoys working in a Team Environment and is intrinsically motivated to work in the BEST COMPANY out there
- Extensive knowledge and highly proficient in the use of AutoCAD and MicroStation (highly regarded)
- Extensive knowledge of the drafting standards of the Victorian Electricity Supply Industry
- At least 5 years of experience in drafting electrical concept and detailed design drawings for overhead and underground assets
- Strong attention to detail and understanding of electrical design concepts
- Ability to work efficiently autonomously and within the team environment
- Ability to manage multiple projects and work within project target dates,
- Ability to provide coaching and mentoring to upskill other team members,
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to interface with a variety of tasks on variety of stakeholders
