Reporting to the ING Australia CIO, the Head of the Office of CIO (OCIO) is a key new role in the CIO leadership team. This role will perform the role of Business Manager to the CIO and primarily support and coordinate activities with the CIO for ING Australia’s Technology function.

**What are you going to do? You will be responsible for**:

- Partnering with ING business partners and IT leaders to develop and execute the CIO team strategy and innovation initiatives
- Accountable for building out a multidisciplinary team responsible for IT operating model, CIO business management, IT workforce strategy, IT brand management, IT financial management, IT vendor governance, software asset management, IT operations and performance management and IT team administration support
- Work closely with the global OCIO, local IT teams and COEs to ensure delivery of technology business outcomes are met and exceeded where possible
- Provide people leadership and direction to the OCIO team members
- Drive an uplift in risk culture within the Technology function
- Acting as delegate for the CIO in certain meetings and committees, act as the point of contact for the Australia Technology function and will represent the Technology function for Australia as requested by the CIO.

**What are we looking for? Someone who has**
- Proven experience in providing business management support to C-level (e.g. Chief of Staff, Business Manager) in comparable size organisation. Supporting activities such as coordinating/reviewing Executive Committee/Board papers, presentations to Executives, Regulators and senior leaders
- Proven understanding of Technology activities, processes, priorities and challenges
- Deep understanding of operating models and proven experience in executing both design and implementation of models, with appropriate supporting metrics
- Proven experience with developing business unit strategies and execution of strategies
- Awareness and understanding of Australia regulatory standards and regulatory environments
- Deep understanding of BEAR/FAR obligations with proven experience in supporting Executives in meeting these obligations
- Self-motivated and proactive with the ability to work with limited supervision/ guidance and ambiguity
- Proven experience in building and leading multi-disciplinary teams working across the organisation and managing different stakeholder groups at all levels
- Advanced stakeholder management and communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to negotiate and influence at all levels
