Role : FRACTIONAL CIO

Client: Confidential

Location: Sydney

Engagement Type: Fractional CIO (Contractual)

Duration: 6 12 months, with possible extension

Commitment: 2-3 days per week

Indicative compensation : 1300 AUD /day ( may vary slightly based on the candidate's background & experience)

About The Role

Our client, is seeking a strategic CIO to lead their IT architecture vision, strengthen governance, and align technology initiatives with business goals.

You will be expected to define and execute the IT roadmap, advise the leadership team, and oversee transformation projects spanning IT Infrastructure, Cybersecurity, ERP/CRM, and Digital Workplace initiatives.

Key Objectives

• Assess the current IT landscape and provide a gap analysis.
• Develop a strategic technology roadmap aligned with business priorities.
• Strengthen cybersecurity posture and compliance.
• Oversee key technology projects and vendor relationships.
• Build stronger IT governance, processes, and KPIs.
• Works in collaboration with the IT MSP helping the client streamline & scale up the operations
  
  

Ideal Background

• Proven CIO or IT Director experience in mid-to-large enterprises
• Strong track record in digital transformation & IT governance
• Exposure to cybersecurity, ERP/CRM, cloud migration, and data strategy
• Ability to operate both strategically and hands-on when needed
• Excellent stakeholder management and executive presence
