An opportunity exists for an experienced Import Sea Freight Operator to work with a Global Freight Forwarder located in Mascot. In the role you will be primarily accountable for the accurate and timely processing of Import Sea Freight shipments.

**Duties and Responsibilities**:

- Receive and check pre-alert documents, process registration, sea cargo and underbonds
- Send arrival notice and pre-alerts to relevant parties
- Check transhipments and update details accordingly
- Check and pay carrier / co-loader invoices
- Obtain and ensure EDO’s are received in a timely manner
- Enter charges and complete billing

**Experience Required**:

- Import Sea Freight experience is required
- Understanding on INCOTERMS
- Computer literacy in MS Word and MS Excel
- CargoWise experience (preferred but not essential)

**Personal Attributes**:

- Attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills - both written and verbal
- Ability to prioritise and meet deadlines
- Team player
