**Job description - Marketing Strategy Consultant**
In this Marketing Strategist job, you will report directly to the Senior Strategy Consultant of this successful agency in Sydney supporting the design and implementation of loyalty programs. The marketing consultant will also play an important role in driving the promotion of the business to attract new clients. The agency works with many clients a month so there will be heaps of opportunities to learn about a variety of businesses & industries.

You will develop a deep understanding of company objections, culture, financials, and data. You will have exposure to all areas of the business including consulting projects, marketing strategy design, and market campaign creation.

**Key responsibilities - Marketing Strategy Consultant**
- In this Strategy Consultant role, you will work closely with the Senior Strategy Consultant and expect the following tasks, but will certainly not be limited to:_
- Initial intensive 2-week training program
- Consulting projects with clients
- Industry research
- Be involved in ideation workshops and support on creating the program design
- Develop quality strategic documents
- Participate in the implementation of Marketing plans
- Involved in client meetings to discuss improvements to programs (e.g. regular competitor reviews, contribute with ideas on innovation)

**Job requirements - Marketing Strategy Consultant**
- Excellent work ethic with a passion and pride in what you do
- Ideally 1-2 years of professional experience in a relevant role (Customer relations, marketing, consulting etc)
- Experience in account management or project management is desired, but NOT essential
- Demonstrated experience in building and sustaining positive relationships
- Eager to learn new concepts and develop a career in a supportive agency setting
- Be proactive and enthusiastic, and like working in a flexible, rapidly changing environment
- Excellent communication and organizational skills, including strong writing skills
- A desire to succeed trumps experience for this team
- A methodical way of working
- Ability to look at information from a critical standpoint
