UGL’s Manufacturing and Maintenance team are growing their Engineering Team, we are looking to hire the following positions to be based in Melbourne, Sydney, Newcastle or Brisbane.
**Senior Electrical Systems Engineer**:
- 10-15 years experience, competence in train control and train traction systems
**Electrical Systems Engineer**:
- + 2 years experience, basic competence in Train Control and Train Traction Systems and general electrical systems /componentry on rail vehicles
**Principal Mechanical Systems Engineer**:
- +15 years experience, competence in mechanical systems such as combustion engines, traction systems such as traction motor, hydraulic transmission and brake control systems
**Senior Mechanical Systems Engineer**:
- 10 years experience, a senior mechanical systems engineer with comprehensive passenger rollingstock experience
**Mechanical Systems Engineer**:
- + 2 years experience, basic competence in Mechanical Systems and componentry on rail vehicles
**Senior Structural Engineer**:
- 10 years experience, competence in structural analysis and modelling, welding designations and materials
**Asset Management & Reliability Engineer**:
- + 5-10 years experience, comprehension of governance and Assets Management processes common place in Heavy engineering/rail environment.
- Maintenance strategy development and improvement using RCM and CBM tools
- Basic comprehension of EN55001
**Electrical Systems Trainer**:
- + 5-10 years experience in electrical train systems and able to deliver training and competency packages for all rollingstock activities
**Workload Planner Scheduler**:
- + 5-10 years experience with P6 workload planning, management and scheduling
**About you**
- Degree qualified C.Eng, TEO, RPEQ
- Industry experience associated with the integration of systems and development of vehicle architecture
- Passenger experience in Metro/Light Rail Vehicles is important
