As our fund continues to go from strength to strength, we are seeking a dedicated Financial Reporting and Standards Specialist to ensure compliance and accuracy in our financial reporting processes.
**Your day will see you**:
- Monitor, interpret, and implement changes in accounting standards relevant to Superannuation Funds.
- Advise on the preparation of financial statements and regulatory reporting to ensure compliance with current standards.
- Collaborate with internal teams to enhance financial reporting procedures and controls.
- Provide insights and recommendations to improve financial reporting processes.
- Stay updated on industry trends and regulatory changes affecting financial reporting.
**About you**:
- Bachelor degree qualified in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Professional certification such as CPA or CA
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in financial reporting or a related role, preferably within the Superannuation sector.
- Strong understanding of accounting standards and regulatory requirements for Superannuation Funds.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Proficiency in financial reporting software and tools.
- Ability to interpret complex financial regulations and standards.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
