As General Manager, Professional Standards, you will play a key role in shaping governance, driving compliance, and ensuring the highest standards across the business. Key Responsibilities
- Lead the development and delivery of professional standards, governance, and compliance frameworks.
- Oversee complaints, investigations, and disciplinary processes with fairness and transparency.
- Build strong relationships with regulators and stakeholders to enhance trust and reputation.
- Provide clear reporting and insights to the Board and senior leadership.
- Champion education and training to embed a culture of ethics and professionalism.
Experience & Qualifications
- Senior leadership experience in compliance, governance, or professional standards.
- Strong knowledge of legislation, regulations, and codes of conduct.
- Proven track record in investigations and complaints management.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Tertiary qualifications in financial planning, compliance, business administration or related discipline.
Key Performance Indicators
- Effective implementation and oversight of governance and compliance frameworks.
- Timely and accurate resolution of complaints, investigations, and disciplinary matters.
- Strong and constructive relationships with regulators and industry bodies.
- Design and delivery of development programs that embed professional standards.
