Verandah Precinct is on the hunt for an Events Co-Ordinator to join the team

Events are well and truly back post COVID We’re looking to expand our events team and take on a functions coordinator who will have a special focus on our function space Social Dining.

We execute up to 750 to 1000 events a year so you’ll be kept busy with a variety of different style events e.g corporate events, private parties, engagement parties and weddings. Every week will be different and each will incorporate new challenges.

You will be guided by a team of hospitality professionals with a structured induction training program in place. You will be supported by three senior managers in this role, who are beyond excited to have a new person on board

It would be Tuesday

As the Functions Coordinator you will:

- Point of contact for the client on the night
- Point of contact for external vendors
- Co-ordinate kitchen on food timings
- Co-ordinate staff on delegations
- Brief staff on event
- Print off all signage and till slips
- Ensure function space is set up correctly
- Cash off functions providing invoice details for the functions sales team

**Salary**: From $60,000.00 per year
