**Your Impact**

We have an exciting **permanent full-time** opportunity for a **Manufacturing Supervisor**, based in our **Wulkuraka, QLD** facility. Reporting to the Manufacturing Manager, you will lead a production team to ensure production, quality and safety standards are met. This is an imperative role to align the production team with broader strategic goals, and the vision of Asahi Beverages, through a collaborative and engaging approach to leadership.

This is an excellent opportunity to further your experience in leadership, alongside a skilled leadership team and operational teams, within an organisation that prioritises learning and development.

**This position requires availability for rotating 12-hour shifts - either 6am to 6pm or 6pm to 6am - for 24/7 operations.**

**About You**

You are a proactive leader who has the ability to problem solve, and motivate your team within a dynamic and fast moving environment. Whether you come from manufacturing, supply chain and logistics, or similar backgrounds, you will thrive in this role is you have **strong mechanical aptitude**, **developed leadership skills**, and a** drive to achieve ambitious goals**.

You will also possess:

- Experience in a hands-on manufacturing, warehousing, or similar role
- Experience leading a team
- Experience working towards KPI's, and addressing any set-backs
- Experience initiating and delivering continuous improvement plans
- Strong knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) Safe Operating Procedures and HACCP principles
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to collaborate with a variety of stakeholders
- Qualifications in a related field - Manufacturing, Engineering or Continuous Improvement highly regarded, but not required for the role

**Key Responsibilities**
- Keeping our people safe by doing regular safety WALKs and inspiring operators to report hazards and incidents
- Investigating, analysing and implementing preventative actions for quality and safety incidents or near misses
- Leading, coaching, and managing a team of experienced operators by setting performance and development plans
- Taking responsibility for shift operations during production cycles
- Managing direct and indirect labour and raw material costs for the lines
- Controlling raw material inventory and working with key stakeholders to ensure appropriate replenishment with close focus on preforms
- Improving organisation effectiveness through the deployment of solutions to improve productivity and drive a performance culture
