That’s why we’re looking for a **Wellbeing & Engagement Manager**to help our elite athletes and coaches thrive - not just in sport, but in life. You’ll bring empathy, smarts, and strategy to our High-Performance program, ensuring our athletes are supported, balanced and ready to perform at their best.
**The Role (What You’ll Be Doing)**:
- Develop and deliver a contemporary **Wellbeing & Engagement Framework**aligned with our High-Performance strategy.
- Provide **individualised wellbeing support**and case management for Aussie Spirit athletes and targeted HP coaches.
- Support athletes through **key life transitions**:
- especially those moving into or out of US College programs.
- Run engaging **education and development sessions**on wellbeing, mental health and life balance.
- Work collaboratively with our HP team, coaches and external providers to ensure integrated athlete support.
- Promote **mental health awareness**, inclusion and psychological safety across the HP environment.
- Contribute to program planning, reporting and ongoing improvement of our wellbeing initiatives.
You’ll work closely with our HP staff, athletes and coaches - plus external partners like AIS, ASC, and US College programs - to make sure wellbeing isn’t just a buzzword, but a lived reality.
**What You'll Bring to the Role**
- Qualifications or experience in wellbeing, psychology, education or social work (ideally in sport or high-performance).
- 5+ years’ experience supporting athlete or coach wellbeing.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
- A collaborative, empathetic approach and a genuine passion for athlete development.
- Working With Children Check (or willingness to obtain) and current First Aid/CPR.
- Experience working with young people
