**About the Opportunity**

We are seeking a Manager to support the design and planning of eBay Australia's long-term strategy.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Maintain eBay Australia’s 3-year strategy and supporting the annual planning cycle, leveraging existing category strategies and supporting the generation of critical initiatives within the remaining core business.
- Develop and implement strategic plans that align with eBay Australia's business objectives and global strategy.
- Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and potential threats.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Marketing, Seller, Category, Analytics and Finance teams, to drive pivotal initiatives.
- Lead strategic projects from conception through execution, ensuring alignment with business goals and delivering measurable outcomes.
- Provide insights and recommendations to senior leadership to advise decision-making and prioritisation.
- Prepare and present strategic updates and reports to the executive team and other partners.

**A successful Business Planning Manager will demonstrate**:

- Proven track record of developing and implementing successful strategic initiatives.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret sophisticated data and translate it into actionable insights.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence and engage partners at all levels.
- Proven ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- High level of proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.

**Preferred qualifications and experience**:

- Bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, or a related field.
- 3-5+ years of experience in strategy development, business planning and/or operations, management consulting, or a related field, preferably within the e-commerce or technology sector.
