**Are you in your 3rd year of your planning degree and looking for relevant hands-on experience to kick start your career?**

This is a rare opportunity to work alongside some of the country’s most experienced community planners on interesting and diverse projects, in an innovative and challenging team environment. In this role you will have exposure to Growth & Design, Policy and Strategy, as well as a range of Planning Services.

This is a hands-on role where you will undertake program support tasks to contribute to the development and implementation of planning projects, policies, local and regional strategies and plans. This includes preparing and reviewing local environmental plans, carrying out environmental impact and development proposal assessments and participating in field work and site inspections. You will also respond to customer and stakeholder enquiries and provide planning advice to stakeholders.

- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Strong problem-solving abilities
- Administration skills (such as Microsoft Word, EXCEL)
- Time management skills with the ability to prioritise tasks and competing demands
- Teamwork and collaboration skills, with a willingness to contribute to group efforts

**Essential Requirements**
- Must be **currently studying** at university and completing a Planning degree
- A good academic record
- There may be a requirement to travel for regional roles which will require a Class C Driver's Licence.
