**The role**

As our new Motor Claims Team Leader, you will be responsible for leading, motivating and developing a team of Motor Claims Consultants.

You will:

- Develop, coach, and motivate a team of Motor Claims Consultants including daily coaching to ensure Consultants maintain skills, competencies & provide a high standard of service
- Prioritization and allocation of team portfolios including workload management
- Conduct performance reviews and assist with staffing requirements & recruitment
- Provide technical guidance and act as an escalation point on complex claims and complaints
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of the Motor Claims operating model
- Provide technical product, process, system, and compliance support
- Maintain highly effective working relationships with key stakeholders (internal & external)Ensure Auto & General policies & procedures are adhered to

**What experience you’ll bring**
- Minimum 5 years in a leadership role with a customer facing organization preferable with strong coaching experience
- Experience with Motor Claims experience beneficial
- Able to develop and maintain strong stakeholder relationships
- Good attention to detail and problem resolution skills
- Experience developing processes & proceduresAbility to effectively manage conflict and negotiate where required
