**The Role**:
This role will support the CIS business with the management of Towing and Roadside Assistance suppliers, including contract, performance, cost and relationship management.
The role is also responsible for assisting in commercial negotiations, performance reporting with existing relationships. It also involves sourcing, selecting, vetting and on-boarding new Service Providers to achieve required cost, service and quality outcomes.
**Key Accountabilities**:
- Sourcing and selection of supplier services within appropriate governance, compliance, and contractual frameworks
- Undertaking business risk assessments of potential suppliers via detailed level of financial and business due diligence
- Auditing, analyzing and managing cost, quality, and service performance of the supply chain to ensure that agreed contractual, regulatory and best practice standards are met and maintained
- In conjunction with CIS leadership team, closely monitor supplier capacity & network to ensure adequate geographical and volume coverage to meet customer demand
- Arranging and attending regular Service Provider review meetings and document outcomes / actions with Service Providers
- Identifying and reporting on key trends within the Towing and Roadside Industry that could present risks or opportunities to CIS
- Pro-actively researching and maintaining sound knowledge of market developments in, regulatory requirements, customer expectations, company processes, systems, products and brands.
- Monthly reporting on volume and costs in relation to contracted suppliers
- Complying with all industry specific Acts, Codes and Regulations, as well as company policies and procedures
- Building highly effective working relationships with key stakeholders (internal & external).
**Knowledge and Experience**:
- Supplier Management or Contract Management experience is advantageous
- Experience in and current knowledge of the Towing, Roadside Assistance, Motor Claims or Hire Car industry is advantageous
- Proven track record of ability to develop and maintain effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- Computer literacy with the ability to understand complex datasets and interpret results
- Previous experience in Motor Category Procurement in financial services (desirable)
