**One Door Mental Health (ODMH) is looking for a Community Engagement Specialist to join our incredible team on a permanent full-time basis. This role is hybrid (includes working from home).**

**About the Program**
The Fellowship program is aimed at re-engaging our valued supporters in the mission of our organisation. Drawing from our strong history of collective action since our inception, the Fellowship serves as a unifying space, fostering connections and a sense of belonging among individuals.
Through the Fellowship, we envision our members making significant and meaningful contributions to the ODMH community. Their involvement will help amplify the voices, perspectives, and experiences of those living with mental ill-health, as well as their families and carers, further enriching our shared mission. Together, we can create a powerful and supportive platform that empowers everyone involved.
**About the Role**
The Community Engagement Specialist role will be pivotal in fulfilling the needs of our Fellowship, the Research Trust Fund, community members, and digital communities while upholding our core values. This is a new position and will play a key part in supporting the objectives of the One Door Mental Health Fellowship ('the Fellowship') by creating engaging and meaningful content that celebrates and empowers individuals receiving support. In addition to this, this role will coordinate the activities for the Research Trust Fund.
The Community Engagement Specialist is responsible for the development, quality assurance, maintenance, support, and expansion of the Fellowship and social media communities. Through their efforts, a strong sense of belonging, shared purpose, mutual interest, emotional connection, and shared lived experiences will be fostered, enriching the overall community experience.

**Your skills and experience**
- Experience supporting an Association or other membership-type program.
- Tertiary qualifications in marketing or communications and experience working in a similar role.
- Strong interpersonal and relationship management skills with a passion for customer satisfaction and an ability to:
- build and maintain relationships with members.
- provide exceptional customer service.
- demonstrate a high degree of empathy and listening skills.
- manage priorities and competing demands with varying timeframes to meet deadlines and maintain high quality standards.
- listen and take appropriate action in response to feedback.
- keep members up to date about activities in relation to the Fellowship and work of ODMH.
- Strong communication and engagement skills to drive mutually beneficial outcomes with members and internal and external stakeholders.
- Ability to deliver a range of digital marketing initiatives using customer-centric communications/marketing skills ensuring audience identification, messaging, channel plans, brand alignment and evaluation.
- Social media management experience (content management, scheduling, reporting, boosting)
- Highly developed written and organisational skills.
- Sound CRM system skills.
- Excellent problem-solving skills including the ability to use initiative to manage issues and solve problems for members through innovative and tailored advice.
**Additional Details**
One Door Mental Health requires all staff to have a Police Check clearance, a current Working with Children's Check and NDIS Worker Screening clearance and appropriate COVID-19 Vaccination.
