Venues NSW is a commerically focused agency of the NSW Government, encompassing the Sydney Cricket Ground and Allianz Stadium as well as major sporting and cultural stadiums and precincts in Sydney, Olympic Park, Parramatta, Newcastle and Wollongong. The network of stadiums and entertainment centres host in excess of 5 million people a year at more than 500 events and is a key contributor to the economy.

Venues NSW takes an intergrated approach to our stadia and entertainment centres by developing partnerships with sporting codes, the entertainment and event industry, audiences, local businesses, NSW Government agencies and community groups. Our network throughout NSW allows us to combine internal resources and harness a vast employee skillset all of which helps us deliver key projects and secure outstanding content.

Venues NSW has the responsibility and privilege of managing NSW’s most popular stadium and live entertainment precincts, which attract more than five million attendees each year. The Venues NSW network includes major public facilities in Sydney Olympic Park, Moore Park, Parramatta, Newcastle, and Wollongong.

ABOUT THE ROLE
Venues NSW was formed in December 2020 and is a commercially focused arm of the NSW Government. We work closely with Destination NSW, major sporting codes and promoters to excite and entertain the people of NSW with a rich and varied calendar of major events. This role is based at the Moore Park headquarters of Venues NSW.

ABOUT YOU
- Strong understanding and interest in live sport and entertainment industry.
- Strong writing and content development skills. An ability to produce, edit and present material quickly is crucial.
- Strong understanding and skills to use all forms of social and digital media.
- Demonstrated ability to work autonomously.
