**The Role**

This role is an excellent opportunity for an Accounts Payable officer to join a dynamic, high performing Finance department based in offices located in Osborne Park. This role reports to the Finance Manager - Operations.

**What you'll need to succeed**

To succeed in this role, you will need to have previous experience as an Accounts Payable Officer, ideally 3+ years. Excellent communication skills, the ability to work independently and meet deadlines, with strong organizational skills and the ability to work well with different departments. Strong computer skills and experience with Microsoft Dynamics AX is highly desirable. Someone to bring a positive and energetic attitude to the role.

**Details of the Role**
- Delivering an efficient and capable Accounts Payable function in a 'customer' focussed manner. Ensure that the business has a high level of satisfaction with services provided to the business by the Accounts Payable function.
- Accurately processing invoices into our AX accounting system. Matching invoices to purchases orders and delivery notes on AX.
- Regularly liaising with Purchasing Officers and Stores team to resolve any price or quantity issues on invoices or purchase orders or goods received/ordered
- Ensure all invoice expenditure has been approved and authorised by the relevant manager
- Accurate allocation to expense and cost accounts for financial analysis through correct invoice coding
- Creation of new supplier accounts in AX in lne with company policy and authorisation
- Preparation of payments to suppliers, on a weekly, monthly or adhoc basis and preparing electronic payments for authorisation
- Assisting the Accountants with vsarious project related jobs as and when required (ie assisting auditors in locating information)
- Other duties as may be required from time to time to ensure the smooth administration of the company
- Processing of credit cards
