**About us**

Waves Mortgage Brokers is a small family business based in Cronulla, servicing clients across Australia. We specialise in residential home loans and our aim is simple - to offer a seamless and friendly customer experience to our wonderful customers.

**About You**

We are looking for a warm, engaging, and empathetic home lending specialist to assist in all aspects of our customer's home loan journey. Someone that can wrap their arms around them (metaphorically) and help guide them through the home loan process from enquiry through to settlement and beyond, to ensure our customers know we will always be there for them.

**Qualifications & experience**
- Minimum 1 years’ experience in credit or mortgage broking
- Understands how home lending works, lender credit policies, and what “levers to pull” to get a deal across the line
- Comfortable running servicing calculations and borrowing capacity analysis
- Friendly and approachable demeanor who loves talking to customers over the phone and on zoom to build rapport
- Great work ethic with a “get stuff done” approach but loves to have a laugh whilst doing it
- Minimum Cert IV Finance and Mortgage Broking

**Tasks & responsibilities**
- Liaising and updating clients throughout the loan process
- Researching lender credit policy to provide suitable options to our customers with the support of the Director/ Mortgage Broker
- Liaising with lenders, solicitors, accountants and appropriate third parties to ensure timely settlements
- Ensuring loan compliance requirements are meet
- Maintain and update CRM systems in conjunction with our awesome offshore VA who will take care of all the data entry for you so that you can focus on looking after our customers
