**The opportunity**

Due to company growth; we have a new opportunity for an experienced Training Coordinator to join our team. This role will work closely with the mining management to ensure training programs align with the needs of the organisation and comply with legal requirements. We are seeking someone who has extensive exposure to the underground coal sector and holds a valid and current QLD certification in Training & Assessment.

**Details of the role**
- Create training schedules, track and create reports on outcomes of all training and maintain training records for the company.
- Coordinate and execute training and assessment in accordance with sites specific training plan.
- Conducting induction and training new hires on company policies and procedures and use the best training methods for a specific purpose or audience.
- Helping support new to industry personnel on their path to being an experienced underground mine worker
- Manage costs, training records, evaluation, reporting and follow-up
- Design and develop new training programs
- Conduct ongoing training, assessment and certification of equipment, operation, and maintenance

**What you will need**:

- Current Cert IV Training & Assessment
- Extensive experience in underground coal mining
- An ability to engage and develop relationships across all levels of the organisation and with client stakeholders
- Confident in delivering training and induction for a big audience
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong understanding and working knowledge of Coal Mining legislation and industry standards
- QLD Coal Board Medical & S11 or willing to obtain
