**Position Overview**:
The Agile QA Manager is responsible for
- Manage multiple workstreams and coaching the Manual QA Team (managing test tickets, deployments, hotfixes, Amazon Elastic Search updates, API testing, and testing new features such as Cloud One integration, Template Security, Cloud One custom roles, etc)
- Manage the Automation QA Team (automating Public API, work on operations tickets, etc).
- Coordinate with developers and technical leads to enable technical knowledge transfer to the QA team
- Investigate customer raised issues
- Lead and support the teams as they transition from waterfall to agile QA
- Advise and coach teams on how to build, deploy, and test infrastructure components on AWS
- Lead the expansion of testing as a service for agile
- Reduce the burden of manual testing and seek to improve QA KPIs as a combined manual and automated solution
- Improve quality and velocity of engineering through integrated and efficient automated testing
- Know how to solve common testing problems related to AWS
- Contribution to improving CICD processes
- Commitment to quality, automation, security
- Work with QA, developers and test engineers to improve test and release processes
- Remain current with market developments and recommend new test automation technologies Basic Qualifications
**Skills**:
- Have a highly analytical mind that critically evaluates problems and solutions, as well as tools and technologies to assist in delivering engineering and operational goals expediently and cost effectively.
- Must be comfortable working independently, within a team, and seek to foster a culture of inclusion and constructive communication.
- Proactive and self-directed, identifying issues and opportunities ahead of time.
- Most of the automated tests run on serverless infrastructure and include end-to-end, unit tests, and smoke tests. So a knowledge of this would be important
- Extensive experience working with AWS Infrastructure
**Preferred Qualifications**
- University degree is highly regarded
- Agile certification
- AWS certification is a plus
- Development experience, especially with JavaScript
