**Job Description**:
The Product team under Nine’s Publishing division is responsible for shaping the digital product experience for a wealth of properties visited by millions of Australians every day. We collaborate with partners from every part of Nine to understand audiences and create meaningful experiences that power Nine’s ambitious growth goals.

Day to day you will:

- Collaborate with product managers, technical and design research teams to help drive the best end user experience
- Generate ideas and early concepts to explore product opportunities and solve problems
- Produce a range of design artefacts including journey maps, wireframes, and prototypes
- Work within and expand upon established design systems
- Craft high-fidelity UI designs and work closely with engineers to deliver the final product
- Communicate effectively and articulate your thinking to other team members
- Seek input from team members to drive better design outcomes
- Plan, develop and facilitate workshop sessions to collaboratively progress projects with various stakeholders across the business
- Contribute to team culture through design reviews, brown bag sessions and team meet-ups

Here’s what you'll bring to the team:

- Some experience in a hands-on Junior Digital Designer role where you have worked closely with developers to deliver UI designs
- Experience using industry standard UI design tools, and knowledge of wireframing, design systems and prototyping tools
- A keen eye for detail and an active interest in design trends and topics
- An understanding of design patterns across multiple platforms
- Excellent communication and storytelling
- An understanding of human-centred design thinking
- Experience facilitating and managing workshops and collaboration sessions
