**The Organisation**

JK has partnered with a large local steel fabrication supplier and manufacturer in Acacia Ridge. Our client currently services an array of industries including but not limited to; heavy transport; mining; construction and furniture. We are currently looking for a Brake Press Operator for an immediate opportunity working Monday to Friday from 7:00am 3:30pm, with an early finish available on Fridays. This position offers overtime opportunities. With many custom projects, this role offers a lot of variety in day-to-day responsibilities.

**The Role**

You will be responsible for the set up and operation of the brake press, ensuring accuracy and quality outcomes are achieved. This job would involve folding various metal components and require you to have sound technical ability. We are looking for someone who is experienced and has previously worked in a manufacturing environment.

**The Requirements**
- Comfortable working in a heavy manufacturing environment
- Prior experience operating a brake press
- Ability to learn and pick up on new things quickly
- Positive attitude

All applicants will need to be able to complete a full medical, police check and drug screen as part of the recruitment process.
