The role

This role is a full-time requirement, however Sandvik recognises the desire for flexible working options.

Areas of responsibility- Provide on-site technical assistance to resolve issues.- Develop customer relationships to ensure customers have a positive experience and remain loyal to the Sandvik brand.- Provide technical training to the service network on proper operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting practices.- Provide technical support to end users, operators, and service personnel in cases of complex technical issues.- Provide relevant feedback to Technical Support Managers and relevant Factory Product Engineering to enable improvements to the equipment or its operation.- Assist in compiling accurate data to process warranty claims and engineering machine improvements.- Review spare parts recommendations with Parts BLM organization.- Provide information on the accuracy of Machine Life Operating Costs (MLOC).- Investigate warranty claims proactively and reactively to enhance customer satisfaction and provide feedback to the Warranty Analyst.

Your profile- Relevant Mechanical and/or Electrical Trade Certificate (or equivalent).- Post-trade experience of at least 7 years in Mining and in a similar role.- Expert knowledge and experience with Blast hole drills, platform drills.- Experience working in remote locations and understanding different cultural dynamics.- Experience in the delivery of technical training to maintenance personnel and operators.- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written)- Ability to travel internationally without restrictions (Europe, USA, NZL, PNG)- Flexibility and adaptability in response to organizational and operational change.
