**The role**

The role will gain and maintain land access for renewable energy projects by:

- Leading the development of the land access team’s capability and performance
- Managing contractors and consultants to deliver land access scopes of work
- Developing and delivering land access strategies and plans
- Championing the delivery of land access processes, procedures, principles and systems
- Developing and maintaining sustainable relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- Ensuring that land access risks and constraints are managed across the various jurisdictions and policy settings that Origin operates in; including the management of land access issues and grievances.
- Ensuring the land access function is incorporated into project planning across the life cycle of activities, in addition to ensuring land access requirements and constraints are understood and planned for in the due diligence of mergers and acquisitions of renewable energy assets.
- Ensuring that the requisite Aboriginal Cultural Heritage and underlying Native Title agreements are secured for renewable projects and are under active management.

**Is This You?**

We’re looking for someone who can demonstrate the below:

- Extensive land access experience within energy, renewables, resources/mining or heavy industry sectors will be highly regarded.
- Demonstrated success in coordinating internal and external teams to deliver negotiated land access agreements across a range of jurisdictions and stakeholders.
- Demonstrated experience in managing and navigating complex land access risks and issues.
- Demonstrated knowledge in securing and managing Cultural Heritage and Native Title agreements
- A Superior demonstrated understanding of the legislative frameworks, policies and codes of practice required to gain and maintain land access for resource development projects across regulatory jurisdictions (preferably renewable energy projects)
- Leadership experience, building teams, and fostering a dynamic culture.
