ABOUT THE ROLE
It takes an industry specialist to be an Event Manager. Not only do you need to carry the Event Travel Management (ETM) commitment to exceptional client service, but an Event Manager is an important leader in operations with a proven track record of managing small and large-scale corporate events. While all our positions at ETM carry an evident commitment to accuracy and attention to detail, an Event Manager requires a level of maturity and experience in dealing with a high level of pressure and problem-solving both internally and externally.

To succeed as an Event Manager at ETM is to understand and utilise the resources and expertise within your team to help support the team’s and client’s overall outcomes and expectations. Ensuring that service standards are maintained is critical, given our business’s core. As we continue to grow, many new clients will be welcomed into ETM. Event Managers are constantly presented with diverse skill sets and backgrounds and

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
- A minimum of 5 years of demonstrated event management experience in a similar role.
- Strong understanding of the MICE industry and suppliers
- Ability to work and multitask in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
- Experience in leading/working within a team to achieve proven successful results.
- Critical thinker and problem solver
- Knowledge of event software eg EventsAIR
- Exceptional time management skills and attention to detail are essential.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to build strong working relationships and ensure stakeholder engagement.
- Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office
