We are seeking a Business Development Representative who will play a key role in delivering volume based prospecting activities for our sales teams.

**About the Role**

In the role of Business Development Representative you will:
This role is responsible for prospecting and cold calling self-generated lists or data base generated lists provided by Marketing and referrals to nurture and create pipeline sales opportunities for our suite of solutions across all segments. This role is also responsible for making cold call campaigns, pre and post event marketing and internally generated referrals, and secure sales appointments for our sales team.

In this role, you will have the following responsibilities/accountabilities:

- Action, qualify and nurture leads received and convert them into sales opportunities that support organizational growth objectives
- Qualify and follow up inbound leads coming from different sources
- Undertake activities in support of Marketing campaigns and events to support the organisations’ strategic objectives
- Proactively identify and source lead opportunities via effective analysis of social marketing mediums and execute on social selling nurturing programs
- Research, compile and develop specific Salesforce prospect lists for assigned target areas and cross regional boundaries where appropriate
- Manage the lead pipeline and workload through the effective use of CRMs, telephony and other supporting technology
- Provide insight and business intelligence to improve effectiveness and performance across all lead channel activities and campaigns
- Develop and build sustainable relationships with internal sales stakeholders

**About You**

You’re a fit for this role if you possess the following qualifications and experiences:

- Degree in Law, Accounting/Finance, Business or Commerce preferred, with 2-3 years of relevant work experience.
- Engaging, energetic and coachable communicator with a keen interest in sales.
- Strong customer service and organization skills; experience in a phone-based customer service/sales role.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with excellent interpersonal skills - the ability to communicate, persuade and influence diverse stakeholder groups.
- Results focused and self-motivating; a team player able to work collaboratively and in a complex matrix environment.
