Contracts Advisor - Supply Chain Management Capability
Boeing Defence Australia's Supply Chain Management team is seeking an experienced Contracts Advisor to support our executing programs.

Who is Supply Chain Management?
Supply Chain Management (SCM) is comprised of approximately 200 supply chain professionals across 14 locations in Australia. A team providing industry leading solutions, our role is to support all BDA programs to deliver agile and innovative solutions to our customers as part of our commitment to building sovereign defence capability. We deliver these responsibilities through the following areas:

- Strategic planning, governance and procurement analytics,
- Requirements planning and forecasting,
- Supplier performance management, purchasing and contracting, and
- Logistics and field service support.

**What you will be responsible for**:
As the Contracts Advisor, you will bereporting to the Manager - Supplier Management, and will be responsible in executing the following:

- Support executing programs draft, negotiate and manage a broad range of commercial agreements including NDAs, development contracts and contract variations
- Liaise with in-house legal counsel to resolve complex contract matters
- Support internal business customers to resolve supplier performance issues
- Undertake process and contract template reviews and updates
- Support the development of training material and delivery to the broader SCM team

**What you will bring to the role**:
As a professional in your field, you will demonstrate experience in:

- Strong contract drafting skills are essential and legal qualification/experience is desirable
- Extensive knowledge of contractual and procurement requirements in a commercial environment
- Knowledge of ASDEFCON contracting is beneficial but not mandatory
- Good understanding of end-to-end Supply Chain processes
- Tertiary qualifications and experience in a field of relevance to law/contract drafting
- Applicants must be able to meet defence security requirements.
