**The primary objectives**:
The Non-Custody Portfolio Analyst & Projects will drive process improvement and enhanced risk & controls within PAS / PARS and take ownership of a set of self-funded projects and initiatives within the PAS / PARS teams, driving them to completion.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Improve processes within PAS & PARS by identifying opportunity, providing SME input into assigned projects and successful execution of those projects
- Strengthen controls within PAS & PARS that lead to high quality reporting and successful audits
- To coordinate and participate in User Acceptance Testing (UAT) when required.
- Perform BAU work in order to learn the processes and provide support during peak times, BAU component of role to be between 20% to 50% of time spent
- Lead the aspects of change management including communication and training to team members regarding the projects / initiatives
- Identify opportunities for automation or efficiency in the context of a project or initiative and update key stakeholders using project management methods & discipline (dashboards).
- Establish spreadsheets, procedures and controls as required for initiatives & projects
- Document processes using flow diagrams for relevant projects and new business, and develop training material
- Document requirements & partner with IT developers to successful delivery

**Key Requirements**:

- Relevant tertiary qualification or applicable industry experience
- Relevant experience and expert knowledge in PAS / Non-Custody
- Demonstrated ability to undertake business analysis within an Agile environment with experience in requirement elicitation, gathering, documentation and management.
- Experience with relevant tools and techniques such as macros & SQL
- Knowledge of the Financial Services including portfolio reporting, market data, the investment universe and the financial advice process
