Our Federal Government client is seeking a
**Procurement and Contract Management Officer** to manage and provide advice in regard to procurement policy, and contract management

**About the role**:

- Provide advice on procurement and contract matters, in accordance with the relevant legislation
- Review and/or draft procurement related documentation
- Assist with the development and maintenance of procurement and contracting reference materials
- Assist with the procurement reporting obligations
- Monitor the management of all contracts, procurement activities, SAP Finance system and Electronic Document Management System

**Ideally you will have**:

- An ability to work, contribute and participate in a team environment that works together to achieve organisational goals
- knowledge of the Commonwealth Procurement Rules and related policy
- Demonstrated ability to prioritise and organise work to meet deadlines
- Well developed:

- Written and verbal communication skills
- Liaison and negotiation skills
- Judgement and analytical skills
- Attention to detail
- Ability in research and analysis

**Desirable Qualifications**:

- SAP experience is highly desirable
- Experience in undertaking end to end procurement in a Federal Government setting
