**About the role**

Are you looking for an exciting opportunity to work with the Chief Executive Officer and a dynamic Executive Leadership Team as we collaborate with the elected body to shape the City of Ryde, and craft a strategic vision of our community’s long-term future?

The City of Ryde is currently implementing an innovative organisation structure design with a City Advocacy Focus.

With our community focused on the future we are seeking an experienced and visionary Executive to lead our City Shaping portfolio.

**Key Requirements**

As the General Manager City Shaping, you will:

- Have extensive Executive level experience working for or with Government agencies
- Lead and direct City Wide integrated strategies that enable the best value outcomes for our community
- Be open minded, driven and prepared to drive evidence based ambitious outcomes to shape the City of Ryde’s future
- Deliver modern and strategic planning reforms
- Work with the CEO to establish stronger and more collaborative relationships with State and Federal Government to build better infrastructure in the region
- Be an accomplished leader who will model our Values and mentor and develop our talented staff
- Have strong advocacy and influencing capabilities at an Executive level
