Southern Adelaide Local Health Network (SALHN) is actively inviting talented and dedicated Trainee Medical Officers to be a part of our exceptional healthcare team.

**About the role**:
As the Resident Medical Officer, your duties may include:

- Providing appropriate clinical care to patients, supervise interns and medical students.
- Assisting in assessment and management of surgical patients admitted via emergency department.
- Participating and be involved in a variety of elective and emergency surgical cases.
- Being rostered on-call anywhere between 3-5 on calls per month.
- Participating in and be involved in a variety of elective and emergency surgical cases.

**About you**:
To be successful in this role, you will need:

- A Bachelor of Medicine; Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) or equivalent
- To be registrable with the Medical Board of Australia as a Medical Practitioner
- Completed an internship training or relevant medical training to commence as a Surgical RMO
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with a wide range of people

As per the SMOEA 2022, the total term of employment with SA Health will be 3 years.
