**The Company**
Our client is a household name and a global brand with a long commitment to the Australian agricultural sector. With extensive research and technical experience, it is works across a diverse supply chain from paddock to plate. They are dedicated to new product innovation, ongoing research and development and have several domestic production and processing facilities.

**The Role**
Based at their Ballarat facility, you will manage a small team and work closely with their head of Agriculture to manage the seed pipeline across the business’s Southern growing regions. You will be responsible for the regular liaison and engagement with a pool of seed growers, reviewing seed volumes, quality and new product trials. You will match this seed pipeline to the commercial volume requirements of our clients’ contract growers and manage these relationships to ensure the supply of high yielding, high quality and sustainable potatoes.

The role requires a number of diverse stakeholder engagement opportunities, from grower, third party seed suppliers, industry partners and internal research entities. The position will require seed and commercial crop inspection across the growing area, to ensure quality, yield and variety requirements are being maintained. You will represent our client at a number of industry field days and be across a number of different challenges in the supply chain.
