Are you looking to take your career to the next level? Metricon Homes is looking for energetic Technical Trainers to join their highly engaged business. As a leading, multi award winning new home builder, we understand that the capabilities of our people are paramount to our customers and our ongoing success.

**Your responsibilities will include**:

- Deliver technical training sessions to our people
- Assess trainee competencies on the job
- Work with managers to identify technical training needs of their teams
- Provide coaching and feedback to our people in the workplace
- Assist with the design and development of technical training materials.

- At least 5 years’ experience in the building and construction industry
- The ability to motivate others and deliver engaging learning to diverse groups of people
- Facilitation, consultation, communication and coaching skills
- A Certificate IV in Training Assessment (TAE 40116) and/or a qualification in building and construction (desirable but not required)

**This position may suit the following types of people**:

- A person with at least 5 years’ experience in industry (either in operations and/or building) who has a flare for building the capability of others through formal and informal training approaches
- An experienced industry trainer who is looking to work for Australia’s most successful residential home builder; and
- A specialised building and construction teacher from the educational sector looking to move into the corporate sector.

**This role requires a police check to be undertaken by successful applicant
