In this role, you will build, motivate, and guide your team of trainers who will deliver technical training content to our customers employees. Your team will teach the full range of our Azure cloud content and curriculum, and they will benefit from your previous real-world, hands-on experience in the cloud computing space.
You will be passionate about developing your people, leading a high performing team, and ultimately helping us as we shape the future of skilling. Your previous experience in attracting, developing, and retaining talent from diverse backgrounds - ideally in a services, consulting, or training field - will enable your team to deliver high quality skilling and help our customers succeed.

**Responsibilities**:
**The purpose of the role**
- You will attract, develop, and coach a great team of trainers.
- You’ll help us by building best practices for deploying and delivering your trainers to our customers.
- You should enjoy continually skilling yourself in the most innovative technologies relating to cloud computing.
- As part of this forward-thinking group, you will help shape the future of the Azure training program.
- Your team will be known for their ability to teach, turning the abstract into concrete reality, and through their ability to engage with some of the world’s most innovative companies as we build out skilling plans.
- You’ll assist your team in maintaining technical training content, lab exercises, presentations, and accompanying materials.
- Through all the above, you will be an Azure Platform evangelist with customers, partners, and external communities.
**Qualifications**:
**What skills do you need to have?**
There will be many opportunities for you to learn and grow into this role and Microsoft. However, to be able to best deliver on the purpose of this role, these are the core skills and experiences you should have on day one:
- 5+ years of people management experience, building great teams and depth experience that will help you shape our program.
Additional
- Bachelor's Degree AND 8+ years training, education, information technology (IT), cloud systems, datacenter environments, server environments, computer technologies experience, or equivalent experience.
- Experience conducting or managing classroom training for technology products and services.
- You should enjoy meeting people from all backgrounds and have the ability to travel to engage them (0-25%).
- Excellent communicator.
- If you have hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure and hold a Microsoft Certified Trainer qualification, then that’s a bonus. If you don’t and you’re a great fit, we’ll help you get one.
