An exciting opportunity has arisen for an entry level Social Media coordinator to join Nine Lives Bazaar on a casual 1-2 days per week basis. No prior experience required but passion and experience using socials is a must.
Based out of our beautiful Kingscliff beach-side HQ, you will be reporting to our Marketing Manager and working in a fun-loving team to assist in the coordination and implementation of the overall marketing and digital strategy for the brand. You will be responsible for planning and creating on trend and original content across all the NLB social channels, Planning and scheduling social media activities and assisting with the creation and implementations of NLB parties & events.
**As a Social Media Coordinator your tasks will include**:
- Owning the social media plan, creating, organising and executing content across all channels (Instagram, Facebook, Pinterest, TikTok)
- Assist in the development and execution of the monthly content plan that supports the broader marketing calendar
- Live and breathe industry trends and app updates and techniques
- Be confident to execute and create content solo or by roping in our staff and models.
- Generate ideas for content, competitions + influencers and feed back to the marketing team for discussion.
- Assisting with Influencer outreach - research, communication, coordinating product requests/sizes & managing dispatch with Customer Service and follow up if needed.
- Assisting with event planning, setup and execution.
- Assisting with planning and executing photoshoots: research, scouting, creating call sheets, setup, styling and BTS.
- Ad-hoc marketing responsibilities, including various administrative tasks
**About You**:
- Exceptional knowledge of TikTok and Instagram and the ability to provide examples of successful content
- Ability to create compelling content daily that achieves business objectives
- Strong copywriting skills to accompany content
- Exceptional knowledge of social and industry trends
- Ability to work to tight deadlines without compromising design creativity or attention to detail
- Highly organised, with strong prioritisation and communication skills; you can effectively manage your workload and can clearly express ideas, and relay information and updates to key stakeholders
- Great interpersonal skills and ability to positively represent the brand
- Experience in Adobe Creative Suite or Canva advantageous
- Experience in PR advantageous but not essential
