**About the role**
As a member of the Marketing Leadership Team (MLT) you will be accountable for setting the overall marketing direction, culture and vision whilst role modelling the Tyro values proudly.
With proven experience in B2B marketing, Performance Marketing and Marketing Leadership, you will achieve the annual growth plan via Tyro’s Direct Marketing channels and its team of 4 (current). You will have a strong ability to evaluate performance and develop strategies to drive growth across a portfolio of products and manage a large budget.
- Your function champions growth representing Tyro’s obsession with small business success in of aim of driving customer acquisition and transaction revenue promoting Tyro products including all Payments, Deposits, Lending and Tyro Connect products as well as new and developing products.
**What you'll do**:
- Co-own the long-term marketing strategy and influence the overall business strategy. Set annual customer acquisition targets, budgets and reporting for the Direct marketing function.
- Lead, inspire, develop and manage a team to deliver the plan. Continuously maintain and build an intimate level of knowledge of SMEs, our products and partners
- Oversee the execution of Tyro's direct marketing strategy, offers, media, UX and creative. Drive demand and connect the dots between value proposition, campaigns, onboarding, and life-cycle experiences to improve conversion rates and drive growth
- Optimise the customer journey against our funnel metrics, identify friction points, and develop solutions to increase conversion and revenue
- Own the customer segment and vertical strategy using your own endeavours, peers, research and insights to establish segments, market analysis, competitor positioning and comparisons
- Participate in GTM activities for new products or product enhancements leading your functions deliverables
- Lead the Campaigns stream ensuring media selection and campaigns execution in new or available channels such as direct media such as content, TV, radio, OOH and, direct marketing such as paid or owned comms and organic to new or existing prospects to drive conversion.
- Lead the Digital marketing stream maximising the return on investment across paid media marketing as well as ensuring effectiveness on owned media. Ensure effective use of marketing technology, budgets and agencies
- Work closely with your counterparts in the Partnership Marketing stream to ensure Tyro’s campaigns are delivered with efficiency and consistency
- Disseminate major growth campaign updates, news and reviews to Tyro
- Though first-class collaboration, amplify marketing efforts, remain consistent, disseminate updates, budgets and targets to run a high performing marketing organisation
- Manage agency and paid media relationships to ensure efficiently and effective campaigns that meet conversion and cost goals.
- Work closely with the Product & Customer Marketing Lead and the Brand and Creative lead to drive brand, growth, partner and customer metrics.
- Take responsibility of understanding Tyro’s products and accurately marketing them
- Actively manage risk, compliance and auditing steps
- Responsible for the identification and management of risk in day-to-day responsibilities.
- Comply with Tyro policies and procedures including completing mandatory training within the required timeframes.
- Role model positive risk behaviours and contribute towards a strong risk culture at Tyro.
**Leadership**:
- As a member of the MLT you will support the running of the marketing department, and at times, represent Marketing in selected company-wide events and projects. You will foster growth, performance and development at Tyro to set exceptional standards for Tyro marketers learning to be the best they can
**Essential to bring**:
- Bachelor’s Degree qualified in Business, Marketing, or similar discipline
- Understanding of B2B marketing in Australia in tech or retail banking products (Deposits / Payments / Loans)
