Rowcon Recycling, one of the largest privately owned civil construction materials suppliers in the region, operate one of the most advanced construction & demolition waste processing facilities in Queensland.

We are a full service end to end waste management company delivering skip bin services & waste disposal solutions, through to supplying civil contractors and major infrastructure projects with quality recycled concrete products, with a strong reputation for service delivery and quality within the Sunshine Coast region.

THE ROLE

We are currently seeking a Leading Hand / Supervisor to join our team in Waste Management.

Applicants must have previous experience processing construction & demolition waste, and be confident in supervising and leading small teams. You will be working with advanced processing equipment in a demanding production environment, so attention to detail, a strong mechanical knowledge and positive attitude with a willingness to get the job done is essential. Both excavator and front-end loader experience is also essential for this role.

Responsibilities include:

- oversee pre-sort of waste materials
- monitor feed quality and preparation for the plant;
- monitoring equipment and process efficiencies during production;
- planning weekly schedules with production supervisors;
- oversee daily maintenance activities, directing team members to ensure high standards of housekeeping are maintained.
