**Qualified Truck / Agricultural Diesel Mechanic**

GMC Onsite has a fantastic opportunity available for a qualified diesel mechanic based out of our
Poowong / Warragul workshop.

GMC Onsite is a family-owned business servicing the Gippsland and surrounding areas for heavy diesel mechanic services, GPS tracking and asset recovery management. We take immense pride in our reputation for providing excellent service and support.

Due to organisational growth, we are currently seeking a trade qualified and experienced Diesel
Mechanic to join our busy team.

The successful applicant will be expected to demonstrate the ability to work in a team environment and be client-driven, organised, energetic and proactive.

Your knowledge and experience in the truck transport and/or agricultural industry will be highly regarded.

**The main duties of the role are**:

- Workshop and field servicing / repairs
- Diagnosing faults
- Attend breakdowns
- Maintenance, repairs and servicing various fleet heavy vehicles, agricultural machinery repairs and servicing, plant and equipment.

**To be successful in the role, you will possess the following**:

- Trade qualifications as a Heavy Vehicle Diesel Mechanic
- Previous experience in truck transport/agricultural industry
- Attention to OH&S workplace practice
- Strong eye for detail
- Effective communication skills
- Customer service focused
- Ability to delegate and prioritise
- Drivers Licence
- Have experience in diagnosis, installation and repair of air-conditioning on all vehicles, trucks and heavy machinery
- Available to work overtime when required
