**About your next role**

The Proposal and Tender Specialist role involves researching and understanding clients’ needs, interpreting tender documents and collaborating across teams to develop compelling proposals that showcase our capabilities and competitive edge.

As a key contributor to our growth, the Proposal and Tender Specialist plays a vital part in our mission to secure and deliver outstanding projects while fostering lasting client relationships.

**Key Responsibilities**:
- Develop, lead and manage tender and proposal submissions to ensure all tender submissions are created on time, within budget and in compliance with institute policy-
- Develop strategic & concise project mandates, business cases, project plans and response documents according to defined criteria of individual and complex tenders-
- Manage the development of key messages for each tender/submission, ensuring these are effectively and consistently included to align the operational activities within the specialist area-
- Manage the development and growth of Monash College submissions to ensure strategic viability and sustainability of the area-
- Review pricing and cost build ups including all fixed and variable cost elements for varying commercial arrangements-

**Your background and experience**

Your recent experience in a Bid Manager/Tender position will see you hit the ground running. Ideally you will have:
- Experience with the Australian Vocational Education system and relevant work experience demonstrating exceptional writing skills to articulate proposals, bids and tenders-
- Robust in writing government tenders and project proposals with a focus on commercial outcomes-
- Demonstrated ability to support the use of new technology and develop skills to master new technologies-
- Excellent track record in identifying funding opportunities-
- Positive results in partnership management and networks with relevant internal and external stakeholders-
- Attention to detail and demonstrated commitment to achieving quality outcomes and adherence to documentation procedures- **Our benefits**
