**The Opportunity**
The Corporate Sales & Business Development Manager is responsible for the delivery of sales revenue targets across Victoria. This will be achieved by taking personal accountability for securing and managing Corporate accounts valuable to Medibank’s purpose.
The role will work to implement the Corporate Sales Strategy for the territory delivering specifically on the business development and account plans relating to existing and potential Medibank Corporate customers to ensure maximum sales performance. You will assist our corporate partners to enhance engagement, insight and initiatives to better care for their employees.
You will partner effectively with channel partners to implement sales initiatives and drive collaboration to support the delivery of the sales plan.
**Key responsibilities will include**:
- Achieving sales targets through delivery of a sophisticated business development and account management sales model
- Growing and retaining new business accounts
- Submitting new business proposals and tender responses with support from key internal stakeholders
- Developing effective internal and external stakeholder networks with key influencers and decision-makers to identify opportunities and enhance overall sales delivery and effectiveness
**About You**
You will be an experienced B2B sales professional with demonstrated success in a relationship-based sales environment, able to effectively manage and retain strategic accounts.
To be successful in the role you will also experience in:
- a health or insurance related industry
- coaching and mentoring internal stakeholders including sales consultants and territory managers
- developing and leveraging multiple relationships to effectively network a client organisation in order to drive organic sales
