The Australian BioResources Pty Ltd (ABR) facility in Moss Vale, NSW, is a state of the art centralised facility specialising in the breeding of genetically modified mouse lines for Garvan and partner institutes. Services provided include import/export, rederivation, cryopreservation, and microinjection using the latest targeting technologies. The facility is supported by a world-class animal management system called “Stuart”.
THE OPPORTUNITY
The Casual receptionist/ Administration assistant role will be based at ABR, Moss Vale. The role will fulfil reception duties such as answering the phone and opening the security gate for deliveries and contractors.
In addition, the role will provide general administration support including booking couriers, printing labels, co-ordinating meetings and taking meeting notes. This role will support the existing administration team, and will fill in when other team members are unavailable.
**Salary**: $32.00 total hourly rate (loading included) + superannuation
Employment Type: This is a casual position

WHAT YOU WILL DO
The Casual Receptionist/ Administration assistant is responsible for receptionist duties and providing administration support. They will work alongside ABR administrative team, to provide excellent customer service.
- Deliver exceptional first point of phone support to clients enquiring about ABR products and services.
- Open the gate to couriers, contractors or other visitors.
- Co-ordinate and book courier services.
- Print labels, laminate cards and provide general administrative support to ABR staff.
- Co-ordinate meetings and take minutes as requested.
- Update client contact details and set up new clients for StuartWEB access.
- Assist with the administration of mouse orders.
ABOUT YOU
- Experience as a receptionist/ administration assistant
- Well-developed computer literacy, including use of Word, Excel, Zoom or Teams
- Experience in taking meeting notes
- Well-developed written and verbal communication skills
- Strong problem-solving skills and a desire to support the work of team members.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work flexibly in small teams and with a wide range of varying stakeholders
