Your new role will sit in the Brand & Creative Team. This team is responsible for planning, developing and delivering all things creative & campaign for the Uni.

Its purpose is the management of brand-aligned creative tasks on behalf of the University (photography, videography and graphic design): this will involve delivery of strategic advice and creative leadership, traffic management, quality assurance and coordination of the integrated production team (design and production) reinforced by contractors and panels of specialist third party vendors.

**Key Responsibilities**:
Production Maestro: Under the guidance of the Director of Brand & Creative, you'll be the conductor of integrated production projects, overseeing design, video, and photography deliverables. Your leadership will provide process expertise, quality assurance, and performance management for the Integrated Production team of around 15 people + freelancers.

Strategic Support: Share your tech wizardry with the wider University by providing strategic and technical advice on design and production asset development and management. You'll navigate internal and external policies, integrating demands and delivering outstanding work within a complex organisational structure.

Process Guru: Develop and implement systems for efficient delivery of design and production work. From project assignment and scheduling to scoping and defining projects, you'll manage multiple tasks and ensure deadlines are met while maintaining top-notch quality, controlling costs, and optimising return on investment. Regular reporting on project status will also be part of your realm.

Team Dynamo: Foster an effective and cohesive team by promoting open communication and collaboration processes. Take charge of developing, motivating, and mentoring team members, enhancing their capabilities to meet current and future requirements.

Vendor Whisperer: Build and nurture relationships with panels of third-party specialists in photography, videography, and graphic design. Keep an eye on creative trends, strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and risks in the domain, reporting your findings for timely action.

Customer Service Champ: Provide excellent customer service by utilising your problem-solving, interpersonal, and negotiation skills. Continuously evaluate service provision, proposing innovative solutions that optimise quality, efficiency, and continuity.

Insights Maven: Design and deliver reporting frameworks that offer valuable insights into optimal processes, customer preferences, and maximising return on investment.

Champion of Brand Guidelines: Drive the use and adherence to Brand Guidelines within the integrated production team and across the University. Utilise systems and tools such as DAM systems, regularly updated guidelines, templates, and other creative resources.
