**The Opportunity**

HCA has an exciting opportunity for an experienced and motivated **Sales Manager**. **Based in our Revesby branch**, you will be responsible for the achievement of sales and profit goals in your allocated region consisting of **Sydney, Newcastle and Canberra**. Reporting to the Sydney Branch Manager, you will also:

- Manage the sales team and their activities, ensuring the correct skills and behavioural values are being applied to achieve sales goals
- Growing market share and competitive position through business growth and the sales teams development
- Liaising with branch personnel to assist in achieving branch sales targets
- Implementing strategies to achieve sales targets and expense budgets
- Reporting on market intelligence, competitor activity and market trends
- Demonstrated management experience with the ability to engage and enable a team of dedicated and talented sales professionals to achieve sales targets
- An outstanding track record in sales management within the construction equipment (or similar) industry
- Commercial understanding and the ability to work within budgets
- Exceptional relationship building skills with a commitment to enhancing relationships with customers, peers and the community
- A strong understanding of financial forecasting
- Business and/or Management related tertiary qualifications an advantage
- Maintain a Safety First leadership style
- A strong technical understanding of earthmoving equipment is beneficial but not essential
